Who We Are...
Hope Beyond Initiative (HBI) is a Public Benefit Organization registered in 2011 with a vision for a Kenya where every vulnerable youth in low-income communities of Nairobi, Bungoma, and Kakamega, is socio-economically empowered, civic-minded, and leading climate-resilient transformation. Our headquarters is in Nairobi, Kenya. Our core programs will be coupled with environmental conservation as a cross-cutting theme from 2027.

Nakuru, Bungoma, Kakamega, Nairobi, Turkana, and Kilifi have the highest concentration of poverty in Kenya. Youth are among the poorest in these counties.
HBI's Solution...
Our Theory of Change is grounded in the strong belief that if we deliver integrated entrepreneurship, education, mentorship, civic governance workshops, and sports development programs embedded with tree-planting and conservation drives to 500 vulnerable youth in Bungoma and Nairobi counties annually (Kakamega programs launching in 2032), then youth enterprise survival and self-employment will rise alongside high school completion rates, because holistic capacity building combined with sports engagement addresses the root causes of socio-economic exclusion while building environmental and civic responsibility.
